DESCRIPTION:The American Red Cross is partnering with St. John the Apostle Episcopal Church in Pottsboro to host a Community Blood Drive on May 18\, 2022\, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. \n\nThe need for blood is critical in North Texas\, and all blood types are needed\, especially Type O.\n\nIn addition to the Blood Drive\, St. John's is also hosting a Health Fair that day\, with representatives from May's Home Health\, Heart to Heart Hospice\, the Greater Texoma Health Clinic\, Texoma Council of Governments\, 211 Resources\, and Areli Medical.  \n\nThese health care providers will offer blood pressure screenings\, Medicare benefits counseling\, advice on Advance Directives\, hospice care resources\, information on protective diabetic footwear\, and other means to assist you in your own health care.\n\nRefreshments will be provided.  All members of the community are welcome and are urged to attend.\n\nSt. John the Apostle Episcopal Church is located at 760 W. FM 120\, one half mile west of Highway 289 in Pottsboro.\n\nFor more information\, or to sign up in advance to give blood\, please call 903-786-4339.
