DESCRIPTION:America 250 Bench Dedication Pottsboro\n\nJoin us as we celebrate a very special addition to our community!\n\nThe Preston Trail Chapter NSDAR has generously donated an America 250 commemorative bench to the City of Pottsboro\, which will be placed at James G. Thompson Park. We are incredibly thankful for this wonderful gift that will be enjoyed by our community for years to come.\n\nThe bench is being designed and created by the Sherman High School FFA Ag Mechanics Team\, who will be learning valuable life skills as they use a CNC machine to create and cut the design for the bench.\n\nThe Daughters of the American Revolution focus on three mission areas: Historic Preservation\, Education\, and Patriotism\, and their chapter continues a long legacy of supporting veterans\, educators\, and preserving historic places important to our communities.\n\nIf you would like to learn more about the organization\, please visit:\n\nhttps://www.txdar.org/preston-trail-chapter-nsdar\n\nWe are honored that the Preston Trail Chapter chose Pottsboro for this special project.\n\n James G.
